Project Description
Stan Whinnery represents Hinsdale County. He was appointed in January of 2013.
Mr. Whinnery is a fifth-generation rancher. He runs a cattle ranch, a haying operation and owns an excavation business. His interests include keeping “sustainable agriculture as a way of life, clean water and the cleanup of abandoned mines.”
Mr. Whinnery is also a member of the Gunnison Basin Roundtable, the Rio Grand Basin Round Table and the Lake San Cristobal Water Enterprise.
Mr. Whinnery’s current term expires January 2022.
